Don’t Trust Anyone Except Black Scale

Black Scale and DTA (Don’t Trust Anyone), have joined forces bringing a new collaboration to the table. This collab is limited to Black Scale’s/ DTA’s online store and LA/ SF locations only. Super exclusive … sorry to our international accounts :(

DTA is a lifestyle clothing brand from Venice Beach, CA since 2005. Owners Johan Esbensen and Travis Barker came up with these three letters to represent a lifetime experience that secure fundamentalism of brand grown organically through the streets and word of mouth. They are a posse of like minded individuals pushing through life living everyday to it’s fullest and sharing one golden rule, “Don’t Trust Anyone.”

Black Scale has incorporated their inspiration of graphic art, religion, and identity to mix with DTA’s style.

Major Drop Turning Tables at The Lucky 1

Our friend in Malaysia, Major Drop, was established in June 2014 now carrying 80 brands under its roof. It is a multi- label street and lifestyle store becoming one of the most prominent street wear hubs in Malaysia. Major Drop hosted an event called, “The Lucky 1″ at the Slate at the Row celebrating their 1 year anniversary, and Lula was honored to be a part of it.

To promote Major Drop, in the building upstairs they showcased their staple brands on sale. Meanwhile, downstairs the party was pumping with people and dance moves that would blow your mind. Luckily, new and up coming DJ’s were able to play their best jams rocking out with the crowd. A few artists that showed us their beats included Moslem Priest, TactmaticNaufal & I-Sky, Arabyrd, DJ Biggie and flown in from Shanghai, frontman of creative collective Yeti In The Basement, one Tom Yeti. The Lucky 1 created a lot of hype and made us want to join in on the Major Drop party!

Upstairs section (pictured below) features the retail section with multiple brands that are sold at Major Drop. Nothing is better than shopping and partying at the same time.

Reach for the Stars for More In4mation

The Big Island of Hawai’i is In4mation‘s canvas for their Spring 2015 look book. In4mation’s humble beginnings stem from Hawaii and these photos showcase the laid-back vibe of the brand photographed across untouched Hawaiian scenery.

The word “Hi” is not only an abbreviation for Hawai’i, but the local greeting in the islands.

5

The classic cross bone logos remind us to enjoy life while we’re young.

7

Even the local logs are friendly to the native “Hi” snap backs.

Soleful Footwear by Publish x Clae

The classic footwear brand, Clae, mixed together with Publish Brand to create “The Natural State” shoe (We love the creativeness behind the name). Publish took Clae’s Gregory SP silhouette and added their touch creating clean designs, while celebrating natural raw materials. The shoe is embellished with nylon woven laces, co- branded insoles, two- tone textures, and most importantly, natural Italian vegetable tanned- leather. Don’t believe us? Take a look below!
