Aloha! It’s that time of year in the hot summer months to mess around at the local skate park or go for a quick surf sesh. With In4mation being rooted in the island of Hawai’i, it easily represents this active lifestyle. In4mation’s summer 2015 collection is out and on the prowl with a variety of hats, graphic t- shirts, some cut- and- sew pieces along with an extraordinary military field jacket.
In4mation’s store name and plus symbol logo came about to represent its unique bond and signify their positive outlook. This group of 4 guys originally ran a skate shop and found an opportunity to take their love for skating/ surfing and take it to another level focusing on the fashion aspect of their lifestyle. In4mation’s motto, “I Shall Proceed and Continue,” was influenced by a hip- hop band that serves to follow their chosen paths and to keep moving forward. We admire In4mation’s motto, attitude, and are excited to continue growing with them.
Evan Mock, a 17- year old local skater from North Shore, perfectly fits into In4mation’s lifestyle and is their “It” guy for the summer 2015 look book. It displays the epitome of Hawaiian life, with surfing, boating, skating, beautiful scenery, and unreal adventures. Hawai’i is not the most fashion forward location, but In4mation, being one of Hawai’i’s leading urban retailers, is changing this movement. We cannot wait to see the future of this unique and original brand, be sure to check them out! Contact us for more In4mation, shoots and Mahalo!
Living in Hawaii temporarily has showed me wonders of the little island of Oahu. The island may be small, but the adventures are never- ending. I will take you through a typical summer day in Hawaii. It always starts with a morning surf session, but beware of the reef below (I got scratched up a little). For breakfast we stop by our favorite new local truck, Banan, and pick up acai bowls in papayas.
Next step is to head out North Shore before all the traffic hits and luckily the drive up is quite scenic. Once we get to Pipeline (of course), I watch the monstrous waves that barrel so elegantly. I could watch the waves come and go forever; nature is so incredible. When our stomachs start to growl, we make our way to the famous Kahuku Farms and get an organic, fresh lunch.
The adventure does not stop here though, we leave north and make our way towards Hawaii Kai to jump off the wooden plank at Alan Davis. Sometimes our turtle friends like to join us too if we’re lucky. Once we’re all snorkeled out, we hurry and gather our belongings to make it to our sunset hike.
Deadman’s catwalk, located in the neighborhood of Hawaii Kai, has one of the most breathtaking views on this island. As we climb up, we made it just in time for the blue sky to fade to an array of colors from orange to pinks and our jaws slowly drop. In awe and amazement we stand and admire what life has given us until the sun goes down. By the end of the night our bodies are browned, we have accumulated more freckles, tan lines, and are covered in sand. I would say it was a pretty exceptional day, what do you think?
Get the hottest summer collection from Primitive before it’s too late! They went with their signature laid- back approach this summer. New to primitive are tie-dye colored garments, cut and sew styles, standard athletic staples, and many more. Their talent goes a long way and is proven in the new graphics produced. One of Primitive’s clever, yet humorous mottos for this summer is, “Let the beer flow, let the skin show.”
The color palette used in this collection and how it has a twist on the classic floral print is really interesting. It is featured on almost all of their products including shirts, wallets, hats, etc. and gives the perfect summer touch to your wardrobe.
