HUF Ramondetta Pro – Recommended by Pro

HUF relaeses the new professional skateboard shoes for summer 2013 is called Ramondetta Pro. The series were recommeded by two skillful skateboarders Frank Gerwer and Peter Ramondetta, the video is the movement of skatebording performed by Frank Gerwer. Wild in the Parks

Wild in the Parks, created and sponsored by Volcom, is a skateboard contest primarily designed
for amateur skaters. Instead of a serious and nervous championship, this event is designed to be a
pure fun in the park. The event is aimed for all ages, but the contest will be broken up in three
divisions: 14 and Under, 15 and Over, and Pro-am open contest. Celebrity guests with decent
knowledge and experience are invited as the judges, whom will score individual participants under
their technique and tricks. There is absolutely no entry fee required to participate.

The event is not limited only in the U.S., but it is an international tour happening in Europe, Indonesia, South Africa, Australia, Japan and Brazil. Few of the finalists from each country are then invited over to Europe to participate in the final Championship event, where the final winner gets a grand prize of $25,000.00. Volcom: Japan Recovery Tour

During mid September of few months ago, Volcom US Skate Team collaborated with Volcom Japan Team to perform the Japan Recovery Tour. Right after the US Team arrives at the airport, they met up with the Japan Team and headed straight to Sendai to meet up with the government offical. The aim for the visit is to deliver the 2,500,000 Japanese Yen (approximately 32,000 USD) to Miyagi prefecture. The donation was collected through the Volcom National charity T-shirt Sale, which totaled to almost 100,000 USD. The sum is then trisected and distributed to Miyagi, Fukushima, and Iwate where the damages were severe. Along with the donation, the Skate Tour started.
