In this episode of Walrus TV by Upper Playground, innovative street artist SWOON shows us her paper wheat paste cutouts that have been commonly seen throughout the urban playgrounds. Her art draws inspiration from actual people she interacts with on a daily basis. Unlike graffiti art, her work displays a beautiful type of deteriorating state before nature vanishes it from the walls. Upper Playground is releasing a collection of four T-shirts designed by Alex Pardee. Alex Pardee has done works for Hurley International, Kid Robot, Aiden and Upper Playground before.
This collection includes four Tees each called- Hellraiser, Spider Ram, The carpenters, and The Second Hugging.
Aside from releasing of the tees, Upper Playground and Alex Pardee are offering an opportunity to snag some limited edition prints, the first 15 purchases of each of the four tees from the Upper Playground online store will receive a corresponding print of the design.
Upper Playground and Snoop Dogg are relasing a limited-edition micro collection of three t-shirts designed by Dustin Canalin.
The three t-shirts are each titled ‘Chronics’, ‘Hockey Snoops’, and ‘You Don’t Love Me’ inspired by Snoop Dogg’s ‘Gin & Juice’ music video.
These t- shirts have very limited quantities and is available via Upper Playground.

In ’95, Estevan created Joker Brand Clothing. The Joker brand has been solid as a rock. While numerous other clothing franchises have fallen by the wayside over the years, Joker has grown into a mature brand, garnering world-wide recognition. A decade later, he established SA Studios Agency, a multicultural multimedia design/art company.
In 2006, Estevan teamed up with clothing powerhouse, Upperplayground, a noted leader in specialty artists’ inspired T-shirt lines. Estevan’s line expresses his photography on limited edition T-shirts. In five seasons, the line and its following continues to grow at a tremendous rate.
Today, in addition to being CEO of Joker Brand Clothing and his fulltime career as a photographer, Estevan also directs music videos for groups.

Derived from the Japanese word “Shingan,” meaning mind’s eye, theline represents those people who create by seeing things in their mind’s eye, and are not bothered or influenced by things around them.
What started off as a drawing hobby as a kid for Tokyo based artist,USUGROW– creator of SHINGANIST , has gradually evolved into a fully respected US based brand.The art work is recognizable through his Usugrow’s monochrome tone and minimal black and white style
His early work quickly spread and became popularized in the hardcore underground scene through word of mouth. Graphics in the graffiti, skateboarding, hip-hop, and tattoo culture or anything that was respected by the underground music scene all heavily influenced him.

the ‘street art” here is a nature extracted from each influences and a basic nature that they’ve looked back deeply at in everyday life in Japan as Japanese. When these natures got blended together, categorizing doesn’t seem all that important. The art is based on Japan as subject, but it doesn’t make a Japanese artwork. It’s something everyone can really relate to.
What is important is that the feeling and the process behind the artwork:they surely reflect to artwork. Therefore, the nature of Japanese appears strongly in medium and process of expression than subject matter.

He is working based in Tokyo, doing album covers and merchandises for foreign hardcore and metal bands

brands and skateboard companies, and trying some paintings instead of using an ink and some
experimental artworks by using organic materials such as wood for several years now
